Medichin offers two high-quality teas that have been selected with the greatest care by our tea producer in Taiwan.
The leaves for green tea are harvested by hand and dried immediately in large flat baskets. Afterwards they are rolled in large drying and rolling drums.
Green tea is therefore called a non-fermented tea.
Oolong tea is a semi-fermented tea; the outer edges of the leaves are lightly roughened by shaking the leaves in baskets, in this way a slight oxidation occurs on the outside of the leaf. Afterwards the leaves are dried.

Acupuncture is an essential part in traditional Chinese medicine. It is a healing method that originated in China around 3500 years ago. The original name was “Zhenjiu” which means “Acupuncture and Moxa”, in other words needle pricking and warming. The term acupuncture is derived from the Latin words “acus” (needle) and “punctura” (sting).
Acupuncture and Chinese herbs go hand in hand and that is why it is obvious for us to offer high quality needles as well. Medichin is the exclusive distributor of Acupro needles. These are made from surgical steel with a comfortable, aluminium spring handle for a better grip. They are available in different sizes, with and without guide tube. A box contains 200 needles, each sterile needle is packed individually.
